Comet’s Glow – Neowise Over the Castle

The comet Neowise was visible in the night's sky over Ireland for a brief period in July 2021. Across 5 nights I ventured out to attempt to capture the comet over Ballybunion's most iconic landmarks. As the comet loomed in the night’s sky over the iconic Ballybunion Castle, the clouds parted enough for a 30 second exposure to last for a lifetime. The comet is set to return in about 7000 years time.
